I worked in the corporate sector for over 25 years, running my own recruitment business. This was a fast-paced and demanding environment that I found both challenging and rewarding, particularly in understanding people, behaviour, and organisational dynamics.
Over time, I began to notice something consistent across the workplace: many people were struggling with stress, anxiety, burnout, and emotional difficulties, yet often felt unable to speak openly about them. At the same time, I also began to reflect on my own experiences of pressure and wellbeing.
This marked the beginning of a long-standing interest in personal development and psychological wellbeing, which started in 1993 and gradually developed into a lifelong commitment to understanding how people change, heal, and grow.
That journey ultimately led me to retrain as a therapist, with the intention of supporting others in a more direct and meaningful way.
I am now a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and BACP Registered Member working with individuals, couples, and organisations in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, and online throughout the UK.
Alongside private practice, I also work with corporate clients and groups, supporting workplace mental health, emotional wellbeing, and organisational resilience.
My experience of both the corporate world and clinical practice allows me to understand the pressures faced by individuals not only in their personal lives, but also within professional environments.
I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and I continue to expand my knowledge of therapeutic approaches and psychological frameworks.
Alongside my core psychotherapy training, I have:
This continued development ensures my practice remains informed, ethical, and responsive to the needs of the people I work with.
My formal qualifications include:
I also hold a BA in Business Studies (USA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine & Culture, which informs my broader understanding of psychological processes and integration work.
I work as an integrative psychotherapist, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models depending on the needs of each individual.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. My approach is collaborative, adaptive, and focused on creating a safe and supportive environment where meaningful change can take place.
Depending on your needs, therapy may include elements of:
My aim is not only to support symptom relief, but also to help you develop deeper self-understanding, emotional resilience, and long-term change.
Alongside my therapeutic work with individuals, I also work with organisations to improve workplace mental health and wellbeing.
Drawing on both my clinical training and my corporate background, I support businesses in developing healthier, more aware, and more resilient workplace cultures.
This includes work with leadership teams, managers, and employees around stress, communication, psychological safety, and emotional wellbeing.
Seeking support can feel like a significant decision. My aim is to make that process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time, returning after a break, or looking for specialist support, I offer a professional and confidential space in which we can work together at your pace.
